Let’s Tai Chi! An Intro to Tai Chi for Arthritis & Falls Prevention
Lorraine is happy to offer an introduction to Tai Chi for Arthritis & Falls Prevention (TCA/FP) to the community of EHSLI. She will give the attendees a brief overview of the principles of TCA/FP and then lead the group in some of the movements of the Sun-style form that is the basis of TCA/FP. TCA is for all ages and can be practiced either standing or seated. The movements are slow, simple and very gentle. Focus is on balance, breathing, loosening of the joints and quieting the mind. Participants should wear comfortable clothing; flat shoes are recommended.
