The Social Action Committee of The Ethical Humanist Society is dedicated to promoting positive change within our community and beyond. We identify pressing social issues, raise awareness, and organize meaningful initiatives that empower individuals to take action. Through education, advocacy, and hands‑on service projects, the committee works to foster equity, compassion, and civic engagement. Our goal is to create opportunities for people to contribute their time, skills, and voices toward building a more just and inclusive society. The group has led efforts such as food drives, protest rallies, postcard writing campaigns, get-out-the-vote efforts, and lobbying for important causes. We collaborate with other community organizations to strengthen the movement for justice and equality.
The group meets every 2 weeks on Mondays at 6:30 PM on Zoom.
